Welcome Statement:

Zion Lutheran Church in Cloquet Minnesota is committed to expressing the holy hospitality of God and welcomes all people into the community of this congregation and to the celebration of Holy Communion. We believe that Christ’s death and resurrection is for all people, therefore we affirm the sacredness of all people: all sexual orientations; gender identities and gender expressions (LGBTQIA2S+); races and ethnicities including Black, Brown, Indigenous, & Persons of Color (BIPOC); ages and abilities; those who struggle with addiction, physical or mental illness; socioeconomic or citizenship statuses. What to Expect on Sunday:

Zion's weekly Holy Communion service is at 9:30 am.

All are welcome at the Lord's Table.


Zion Lutheran Church is an open community of faith where all are invited to worship, learn, grow, care and be cared for. Zion Lutheran Church is an Reconciling in Christ (RIC) community.
Visitors are welcome to participate in any and all opportunities Zion has to offer.


Children are welcome during the service as integral members of the body of Christ.

Please come in whatever clothing is most comfortable for you. There is no dress code.


Following the service, there is coffee, fellowship, and, on the Second Sunday of the month during the school year, Intergenerational Faith Formation in the Social Hall. We look forward to seeing you there!

Community Day Camp

Welcome to Community Day Camp! We are very excited to welcome staff from Voyageurs Lutheran Ministry to lead our Day Camp, hosted at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Cloquet, MN [612 12th St, Cloquet, MN 55720].

Join us for crafts, games, worship, bible study, and more!  There is no charge for Day Camp


Community Day Camp is for Students who just completed Kindergarten - 5th grade in the 2024-25 School Year:


Monday, July 21st through Thursday, July  24th

9am-3pm, every day. 


Wednesday, July 23rd will be a "Free Family Fun Night", with food, activities, and music from 5:00-7:00. All are Welcome! 


Lunch and healthy snacks will be provided every day.

Moving Against Hunger

Join the NEMN Synod Hunger & Justice Task Force and our own Hunger & Justice Committee for a fun, all ages and abilities event!


Moving Against Hunger will be taking place on Saturday,  August 2nd. Meet up at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Carlton [204 5th St. N.] at 8:30a. Bike, run, wheel, ride, frolic, scamper, etc.


Lunch & fellowship to follow in Bethesda's Social Hall!

Pastor's Schedule

Pastor Christina's typical weekly office schedule is as follows:

Monday | 8:30-1p

Tuesday | 11-1p (Text study in the morning.)

Wednesday |Offsite (Visitation or work from home. Onsite for evening services or confirmation when applicable.)

Thursday 8:30-1p


Pastor's days off are Friday and Saturday.


Sunday | 8-3p (Worship & Fellowship 9:00-11:30.)
